1) The technical advancement of Riesling plant material, viticultural research and oenological research in the South African Wine industry

2) Creating a Riesling competition similar to that of the ABSA Pinotage top 10

3) Creating a Riesling tasting panel

4) Creating greater awareness of Riesling amongst the public

5) Ensuring Riesling has a bright future in South Africa

About The Members
The Just Riesling association was formed by the majority of the Riesling producers in South Africa to further the interest of the noble Riesling variety.

The committee consist of some of the most successful Riesling producers namely;
Lowell Jooste (Klein Constantia),
Paddy Bomford (Hartenberg),
Paul Cluver (Paul Cluver Wines),
Gary Jordan (Jordan Wines),
Thomas Webb (Thelema) and
Peter De Wet (De Wetshof)
